This case does not hold protected 18650 button-top batteries, which is what I purchased it for. That said, it is of excellent build quality and snugly holds unprotected batteries.

Would not recommend it. One of the hinges broke after only 12hrs of use. I could be missing fingers and still count how many times I opened it. Glad it was free!!!!!! Well maybe duct tape will fix it?
