Terms of Service & Final Sale Policy
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of 18650BatteryStore.com and your purchase of products from EDG Sales International, LLC d/b/a 18650 Battery Store.
We sell technical battery products that require correct product selection, safe handling, compatible charging equipment, and proper system integration. Because lithium-ion and lithium iron phosphate products can present serious safety risks if misused, we encourage every customer to contact us before purchasing whenever there is any uncertainty about compatibility, specifications, discharge ratings, charger requirements, battery chemistry, physical size, terminal style, or intended use.
Important Purchase Notice: All sales are final. We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for products once purchased, whether used or unused, except where expressly required by applicable law or expressly approved by us in writing under the limited procedures below.
Please choose carefully. If you have any questions before placing an order, contact us first at support@18650batterystore.com or call 1-800-547-3050. We would rather help you confirm the correct battery before purchase than have you receive a product that is not right for your application.
1. Acceptance of Terms
EDG Sales International, LLC d/b/a 18650 Battery Store, also referred to in these Terms as “18650 Battery Store,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” owns and operates this website, located at 18650BatteryStore.com, including all related pages, content, products, checkout functions, and services made available through the website (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing the Site, creating an account, placing an order, submitting information, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy, and any product-specific notices, warnings, specifications, or instructions displayed on the Site or included with your order.
If you use the Site or place an order on behalf of a company, organization, governmental entity, reseller, manufacturer, installer, battery pack builder, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. In that case, “you” and “your” include both you individually and the entity on whose behalf you act.
2. Technical Product Selection and Customer Responsibility
Batteries, chargers, battery-management components, pack-building supplies, and related products are technical goods. Product names, common device references, and customer recommendations are provided for convenience only and do not replace your obligation to verify product compatibility for your specific application.
Before purchasing, you are responsible for confirming all relevant requirements, including but not limited to:
- battery chemistry, including lithium-ion, lithium iron phosphate, or other chemistry;
- nominal voltage, full-charge voltage, discharge cutoff voltage, and charging profile;
- capacity, continuous discharge rating, pulse rating, and thermal limits;
- physical dimensions, button-top or flat-top configuration, protected or unprotected configuration, and terminal style;
- charger compatibility, battery management system requirements, fusing, wiring, cell balancing, and enclosure design;
- manufacturer limitations, application limitations, safety documentation, and applicable laws or industry standards.
Contact us before purchasing if you are unsure. We are happy to help review general specifications before you buy. We cannot guarantee that any product is suitable for an application we have not designed, inspected, tested, or approved in writing.
3. All Sales Are Final
All sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, cancellations after fulfillment, or exchanges for any product once purchased, regardless of whether the product has been opened, unopened, installed, unused, used, charged, discharged, modified, or left in its original packaging, except where expressly required by applicable law or expressly approved by us in writing under these Terms.
This final-sale policy exists because battery products are safety-critical goods. Once a battery, charger, or related electrical component leaves our chain of custody, we cannot verify with certainty whether it has been charged, discharged, short-circuited, over-currented, over-heated, dropped, crushed, punctured, contaminated, exposed to moisture, installed in an incompatible system, connected with incorrect polarity, stored improperly, altered, rewrapped, or otherwise subjected to conditions that may compromise safety or performance.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that:
- you have reviewed the product listing, specifications, warnings, and compatibility requirements before purchase;
- you have had the opportunity to contact us before purchasing with any questions;
- your order is a final sale and is not eligible for buyer’s remorse returns, fitment-based returns, incorrect-size returns, incorrect-chemistry returns, project-change returns, duplicate-order returns, or “ordered by mistake” returns;
- shipping charges, hazmat-related charges, route protection fees, and handling charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved by us in writing;
- unauthorized returns may be refused, disposed of, quarantined, or returned to you at your expense, subject to safety and carrier limitations.
4. Order Review, Changes, and Cancellations
Please review your cart, shipping address, product quantity, and product specifications before submitting payment. We process orders quickly and may not be able to change or cancel an order after it is placed.
An order is not guaranteed until accepted by us. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or hold any order for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, payment concerns, export or regulatory concerns, inventory discrepancies, pricing errors, shipping restrictions, product-safety concerns, or suspected misuse.
If we cancel an order before fulfillment, we will issue the applicable payment reversal or refund for the canceled items. If an order has already been fulfilled, tendered to the carrier, shipped, or otherwise processed beyond the point of cancellation, the order remains subject to the final-sale policy.
5. Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives with visible shipping damage, missing contents, leakage, crushed packaging, heat damage, or other transit-related concerns, contact us immediately and no later than five (5) calendar days after carrier-confirmed delivery.
To evaluate a transit-damage claim, we may require:
- clear photos or video of the outer shipping box, shipping label, packaging materials, and affected product;
- a written description of the issue;
- confirmation that all packaging materials and products have been retained for carrier inspection;
- any additional information reasonably needed to evaluate the shipment and carrier claim.
Do not discard the product or packaging unless instructed by us in writing. Transit-damage claims are reviewed on an individual basis. If we approve a remedy, the remedy may be limited to replacement of the affected item, reshipment, carrier-claim assistance, or another resolution we determine appropriate under the circumstances. This section does not create a general right of return, refund, or exchange.
6. Dead-on-Arrival or Verified Defective Products
If you receive a battery that appears to be dead on arrival, will not accept charge using a compatible charger, or appears materially defective upon delivery, contact us within five (5) calendar days after carrier-confirmed delivery. Claims submitted after this five-day window may be denied.
To qualify for review, the product must meet all of the following conditions:
- the product must have been purchased directly from 18650 Battery Store;
- batch numbers, serial numbers, labels, packaging, or other identifying information must verify that the product originated from our warehouse;
- the product must be new, unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and free from signs of misuse, abuse, physical damage, liquid exposure, incorrect charging, reverse polarity, overheating, altered wraps, soldering, spot-welding, or attempted repair;
- all original packaging and included materials must be retained;
- you must obtain written return authorization before sending anything back to us.
If we issue a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”), the RMA applies only to the specific item and issue approved in writing. After we receive and test the item, our sole and exclusive remedy, if the item is verified by us to be dead on arrival or materially defective within the scope of this section, is replacement of the affected item or another remedy we expressly approve in writing. If testing does not confirm the issue, or if the item fails to meet the conditions above, the claim may be denied and you may be responsible for any return-shipping, disposal, or handling costs permitted by law.
7. Lithium Battery Safety and Assumption of Risk
Lithium-ion, lithium polymer, lithium iron phosphate, and other rechargeable battery products can store significant energy. Misuse, abuse, improper charging, short circuit, incorrect installation, excessive discharge, over-current events, physical damage, incompatible devices, improper storage, heat exposure, water exposure, or failure to use adequate protection circuitry can result in fire, venting, smoke, electrolyte release, thermal runaway, personal injury, property damage, or death.
By purchasing battery products from us, you agree that you will:
- read and follow all manufacturer warnings, specifications, datasheets, and safety instructions;
- use only compatible chargers, battery holders, devices, enclosures, wiring, fuses, battery management systems, and protection circuits;
- never carry loose cells in a pocket, bag, vehicle console, toolbox, or other location where the terminals may contact metal objects;
- inspect wraps, insulators, terminals, and packaging before use;
- stop using any product that is hot, swollen, leaking, corroded, punctured, dented, crushed, torn, shorted, or otherwise abnormal;
- comply with all laws, carrier rules, workplace rules, and safety standards applicable to your use, resale, shipment, disposal, or integration of battery products.
You assume all risks associated with product selection, design, installation, integration, resale, storage, charging, discharge, transportation, and use, except to the extent such risks cannot lawfully be allocated to you.
8. Resellers, Manufacturers, Pack Builders, and Commercial Buyers
If you purchase products for resale, redistribution, manufacturing, pack building, repair, installation, commercial integration, laboratory use, or other business purposes, you are solely responsible for determining whether the products are appropriate for your intended use and for complying with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, industry standards, product-safety requirements, labeling requirements, shipping requirements, and customer-warning obligations.
You agree to provide downstream purchasers, users, employees, contractors, and customers with all appropriate warnings, instructions, limitations, safety documentation, and handling requirements. You further agree not to remove, obscure, misstate, or contradict manufacturer warnings, specifications, ratings, or safety information.
9. Product Information, Specifications, and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to display accurate product information. However, product images, labels, wraps, packaging, specifications, country of origin, datasheets, manufacturing batches, accessories, and availability may change without notice due to manufacturer updates, supply-chain changes, or listing corrections.
Capacity ratings, discharge ratings, cycle-life estimates, charging values, dimensions, and other specifications may be based on manufacturer information, laboratory conditions, or nominal values. They are not a guarantee that a product will perform identically in every device, pack, operating environment, or customer-designed system.
We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, omissions, pricing errors, stock errors, typographical errors, image errors, or specification errors at any time, including after an order is submitted. If a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price or with materially incorrect information, we may refuse or cancel the order and issue the applicable payment reversal or refund for the canceled item.
10. Payment, Taxes, Fraud Review, and Account Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, contact, tax-exemption, and payment information. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge all amounts due for your order, including product costs, shipping, handling, taxes, and any other applicable charges shown at checkout.
We may request additional verification before accepting or fulfilling an order. We may refuse, cancel, or hold an order if we believe the order may be fraudulent, unauthorized, unlawful, unsafe, incorrectly priced, restricted by carrier rules, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.
Tax-exempt purchases must be supported by valid documentation that we accept before the applicable order is placed. Taxes charged on orders placed before tax-exempt account approval may not be refundable unless required by law or expressly approved in writing.
11. Shipping, Delivery, and Restricted Shipments
Battery products may be subject to shipping restrictions, hazmat rules, carrier limitations, air-shipment restrictions, ground-shipment requirements, address restrictions, signature requirements, and other transportation controls. We reserve the right to select the carrier, shipping method, packaging method, and documentation appropriate for the order.
You are responsible for providing a complete and deliverable shipping address. We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, weather events, carrier disruptions, customs delays, regulatory holds, incorrect addresses, refused deliveries, stolen packages after delivery confirmation, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Except as otherwise required by law, risk of loss passes to you when the carrier confirms delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout. Claims involving non-delivery, delivery damage, or missing packages must be reported promptly so we can evaluate available carrier options.
12. Warranty Disclaimer
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE, SITE CONTENT, PRODUCT INFORMATION, AND PRODUCTS SOLD THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND BY 18650 BATTERY STORE, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

Any manufacturer warranty, if available, is provided by the manufacturer and not by 18650 Battery Store unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. We do not warrant that a product will be compatible with your device, system, design, pack, charger, enclosure, discharge profile, environment, or intended application.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, exclusions apply only to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, 18650 BATTERY STORE, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR ENHANCED DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOST REVENUE; LOSS OF DATA; LOSS OF BUSINESS; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; PROPERTY DAMAGE; PERSONAL INJURY; OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM PRODUCT SELECTION, MISUSE, INSTALLATION, INTEGRATION, RESALE, CHARGING, STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION, DISPOSAL, OR USE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, THESE TERMS, OR ANY PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM US SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 18650 Battery Store and its owners, officers, directors, managers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, licensors, and service providers from and against all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses, and fees, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your misuse, storage, handling, shipment, installation, integration, resale, distribution, disposal, or use of any product;
- your violation of any law, regulation, carrier rule, safety standard, or third-party right;
- your product design, battery pack design, device design, repair work, manufacturing work, resale activity, or commercial use;
- information, content, reviews, messages, or materials you submit to us or the Site.
15. Use of Site and Prohibited Conduct
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with Site operations, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data without permission, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, submit false information, engage in fraudulent transactions, or use the Site in any manner that violates applicable law or harms 18650 Battery Store, our customers, or third parties.
Harassment, abusive communications, threats, defamatory statements, obscene content, deceptive content, unauthorized commercial solicitation, and infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights are prohibited.
16. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, product descriptions, page design, code, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to 18650 Battery Store and are protected by United States and international intellectual-property laws.
You may electronically copy or print portions of the Site solely for personal, non-commercial use, for internal purchasing review, or to place an order with us. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, display, transmission, republication, or commercial use of Site content is prohibited unless authorized by us in writing.
17. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, shipping providers, review platforms, manufacturer resources, documentation, or other services. 18. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you acknowledge that we may collect, use, disclose, and protect information as described in the Privacy Policy.
19. Dispute Resolution, Georgia Law, and Venue
These Terms, the Site, and all purchases from 18650 Battery Store shall be governed by, construed under, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us in writing and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue informally. Written notices should be sent to support@18650batterystore.com and should include your name, order number, contact information, description of the issue, and the resolution you are requesting.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any lawsuit, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any purchase from us shall be brought only in the state courts located in Cobb County, Georgia, or, if federal jurisdiction exists, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum, improper venue, or lack of personal jurisdiction, to the extent such waiver is permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, representative, collective, or private-attorney-general action. This provision applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
20. Time Limitation for Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any product purchased from us must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arises, or the claim is permanently barred. This limitation does not apply where a longer period is required by non-waivable law.
21. Modification, Suspension, and Termination
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Site, these Terms, product listings, pricing, promotions, policies, or services at any time, subject to applicable law. Updated Terms are effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account, access, or ability to order if we believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, engaged in abusive communications, created safety concerns, violated law, or created risk for us, our employees, carriers, suppliers, or customers.
22. Severability, Waiver, Force Majeure, and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or, if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision. No waiver is effective unless made in writing by an authorized representative of 18650 Battery Store.
We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, supply-chain interruptions, natural disasters, fire, flood, weather, labor disputes, governmental action, regulatory changes, power or internet failures, acts of war, terrorism, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
These Terms, together with policies and notices referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and 18650 Battery Store regarding the Site and purchases from us, unless you have a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative of 18650 Battery Store.
