Shipping & Returns Policy
We ship lithium batteries with care, accuracy, and carrier-compliant handling. Because batteries are technical, safety-sensitive products, all battery sales are final. Please contact us before purchasing if you have any questions about compatibility, sizing, chemistry, discharge rating, charger requirements, or your intended application.
Important Notice Before You Place an Order
Lithium-ion and LiFePO4 batteries are specialized electrical components. The correct cell depends on your device, charger, current draw, battery holder, protection circuit, pack design, and safety requirements. We want every customer to buy confidently and safely.
All battery sales are final. Once a battery leaves our chain of custody, we cannot verify how it was stored, charged, discharged, installed, tested, or handled. For safety and quality-control reasons, batteries cannot be returned for refund or exchange because of compatibility, incorrect size, incorrect chemistry, buyer’s remorse, project changes, or ordering the wrong product.
Please contact us prior to purchasing if you are unsure which battery is appropriate. Our team can help you review key technical factors, including protected vs. unprotected cells, flat top vs. button top, continuous discharge rating, capacity, charger compatibility, and whether a bare cell is appropriate for your application.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1 business day after your order confirmation email is received, excluding weekends and holidays. After your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Most orders
Most in-stock orders are processed within 1 business day after the order is received and payment is confirmed.
Orders after 4:00 PM Eastern
Orders received after 4:00 PM Eastern Time will generally begin processing the following business day.
1,000+ piece orders
Large-volume orders of 1,000 pieces or more may require 1 additional business day for counting, packaging, and shipment preparation.
Processing times are separate from carrier transit times. Delivery estimates begin after the carrier receives the shipment.
Domestic Shipping Rates & Estimates
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the products in your cart, battery quantity, package weight, destination, and carrier availability. Delivery times are carrier estimates and are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed service is specifically offered at checkout.

Lithium battery shipping is regulated. Carrier services may be limited by lithium-battery quantity, product type, destination, packaging requirements, or hazmat-related restrictions. If a selected carrier cannot legally or safely transport an order, we may contact you to arrange an appropriate shipping method.
International Shipping
Online international shipping is currently offered to Canada. Shipping rates are calculated and displayed at checkout. For large-volume orders outside the United States and Canada, please contact us directly so we can review freight options, lithium-battery shipping requirements, and any applicable documentation.

Import duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and customs charges are the customer’s responsibility. These charges may be assessed once the shipment reaches the destination country. 18650BatteryStore.com is not responsible for import charges, customs delays, or destination-country restrictions.
Tracking, Delivery & Address Accuracy
Watch for your tracking email
When your order ships, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. Please allow up to 48 hours for carrier tracking scans to appear.
Verify your delivery address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at checkout. Carrier rerouting, correction fees, refused packages, or returned shipments may result in additional costs.
Contact us if delivery appears delayed
If your order has not arrived within 7 days after your shipping confirmation email, contact us with your name and order number so we can review the shipment status.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
UPS and FedEx do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If your delivery address is a P.O. Box, please choose a USPS shipping option when available. Orders addressed to P.O. Boxes that require UPS or FedEx service may be delayed while we contact you for an alternate address.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
Our return policy is designed to protect customer safety, product integrity, and supply-chain accountability. Batteries are not ordinary retail items; they are consumable energy-storage products that can be affected by use, misuse, charging equipment, storage temperature, discharge load, installation method, and physical handling.
All battery sales are final
We do not offer general refunds, returns, or exchanges on batteries. This includes lithium-ion cells, LiFePO4 cells, battery packs, and other battery products unless a specific written exception applies.
Unused accessories may qualify
Chargers, cases, wraps, and similar non-battery accessories may be eligible for return within 14 days after delivery if unused, unopened where applicable, and in original condition. Original shipping costs and return shipping costs are not refundable unless required by law or caused by our error.
Do not send items back without approval
All approved returns or DOA evaluations require an RMA. Items sent back without prior authorization may be refused, returned to sender, delayed, or ineligible for review.
Please choose carefully before placing your order. If you are uncertain about any technical specification, do not guess. Contact us first so we can help you avoid ordering an incompatible battery or charger.
Damaged Items & Defective Cells
Items Damaged During Transit
If your order arrives damaged in any way, contact us immediately. Please include your order number, photos or video of the shipping box, packing materials, product labels, and the item’s condition. We review transit damage on a case-by-case basis and will work toward an appropriate solution based on the facts, carrier requirements, product condition, and applicable law.
Do not use, charge, ship, or handle a damaged lithium battery unless instructed. If a battery is hot, swollen, leaking, venting, punctured, crushed, corroded, or has a strong odor, stop using it immediately, keep it away from flammable materials, and contact us for guidance. Damaged lithium batteries may require special handling and may not be eligible for normal return shipping.
Defective Cells / Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If you receive a battery that is completely dead and will not charge, contact customer service within 5 days of accepted delivery. A battery may be accepted for DOA evaluation and replacement only if all required conditions are met.
- Batch numbers, serial numbers, labels, or other identifying information must verify that the cells originated from our warehouse.
- The battery must be new and unused, with no signs of installation, spot-welding, soldering, wrapping modification, physical wear, overheating, misuse, or attempted repair.
- All original packaging must be included.
- An RMA must be issued before anything is returned.
- Returned cells must be received, inspected, tested, and verified as DOA before a no-cost replacement is issued.
After the 5-day DOA window has passed, the DOA guarantee expires and no DOA return will be accepted.
Wholesale, Commercial & Large-Volume Orders
Wholesale, commercial, custom-quoted, pallet, LTL, freight, and large-volume battery orders are final sale unless otherwise stated in a written agreement signed by an authorized representative of 18650BatteryStore.com. Large orders may require additional handling time, hazmat-compliant packaging, freight coordination, or carrier-specific documentation.
Commercial buyers, battery pack builders, resellers, OEMs, and installers are responsible for confirming product suitability, compliance documentation, end-use requirements, and downstream customer warnings before purchasing.
Order Cancellations, Refused Shipments & Undeliverable Packages
Because orders often process quickly, cancellation requests are not guaranteed. If an order has already been packed, labeled, tendered to a carrier, or shipped, it may not be canceled.
Packages returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, carrier restriction, or customer non-response may be subject to additional shipping charges, carrier fees, and handling costs. Batteries remain subject to the final-sale policy.

This Shipping & Returns Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and any product-specific warnings or documentation. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
This policy does not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. If a conflict exists between this page and a signed written agreement with 18650BatteryStore.com, the signed written agreement controls for that transaction.

Are battery sales final?
Yes. All battery sales are final. Because batteries are consumable, safety-sensitive energy-storage products, we cannot verify their condition, use history, charging history, storage conditions, or handling once they leave our chain of custody. Please contact us before purchasing if you have compatibility or specification questions.
Can I return batteries if I ordered the wrong size, chemistry, or terminal style?
No. Ordering the wrong battery size, chemistry, protection type, terminal style, capacity, discharge rating, or charger type does not qualify for a return or exchange. If you are unsure what your device or project requires, contact us before ordering.
How long does order processing take?
Most orders are processed within 1 business day after order confirmation, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Time generally begin processing the next business day. Large-volume orders of 1,000 pieces or more may require 1 additional business day.
What shipping carriers do you use?

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Do you ship internationally?
Online international shipping is currently available to Canada. For other countries, we may be able to arrange large-volume shipments by freight. Contact us directly to discuss requirements, lithium-battery shipping rules, documentation, and freight options.
Who pays import duties, VAT, brokerage fees, or customs charges?
The customer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and customs charges assessed by the destination country or carrier. These charges are not included in the product price unless expressly stated.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately with your order number and photos or video of the shipping box, packaging materials, product labels, and item condition. Do not use, charge, or ship a damaged lithium battery unless we instruct you to do so.
What qualifies as DOA?
DOA means a battery is completely dead on arrival and will not charge. You must contact us within 5 days of accepted delivery. The cell must be new, unused, include original packaging, verify as originating from our warehouse, and be returned only after an RMA is issued. Replacement is issued only after inspection and DOA verification.
Can I return chargers, cases, wraps, or other accessories?
Unused non-battery accessories may be eligible for return within 14 days after delivery if they are in original condition and approved by customer service. Original shipping charges and return shipping costs are not refundable unless required by law or caused by our error.
