The XTAR VC2 is an amazing charger and I've been using the XTRA brand for years. This device has 3-stage charging and zero volt recovery. I particularly like that it is a 1A device that I can use in my vehicle due to the USB power. It accommodates all of my battery types (18650, 20700, 21700) and it is perfect for overnight charging. The 3-stage charging makes sure that the batteries are packed and fully charged. I can't say enough good things about this charger.

Really like the Xtar VC2 2 bay charger! Love the digital display, also like that the charger has an automatic cut of that will not exceed 4.2 V and over charge the batteries if they are left in the charger once the cycle is complete. Haven't needed it yet but after reading the manual and checking out some on line reviews I like that it can "wake up" over discharges batteries. Only down side is the unit only comes with a USB charger cord. Would be nice if a wall adapter was included. The good news is an inexpensive wall adapter is available and I recommend it for the greatest charging flexibility!

The Xtar VC2 battery chargerworks exactly as described. I am very happy with it and feel it is a real bargain at the price being charged. It is not very fast however as it is a constant .5A charger. That said, .5A is a safe charging amperage and lessens any worries about overheating.

Not the fastest charger on the market, but for the price it is fantastic. Tells mAh added to the battery but not total charge in the battery. I took some panasonic 2900 mAh batteries down to 15% charge and it showed it added 2200 mAh to the battery so seems about right.

doesn't fit the 21700 battery I bought this carger because it said it woujd charge the 21700 battery. it did not fit even when forced. i modified it by cutting away a lot of the case. it now works but I had cut it up pretty good!

Fast charging Charged my 26650 battery in less then 1/2 hour. The original charger that came with the battery would take 12-24 hours to charge the battery since the battery Ends would not make complete contact with the +/- prone do to an angle on the base in each side of the charging area, whish could load a picture . But what I like the most is the digital screen that let you see the amps and voltage as is charging along with the percentage progress and when it is full.

Great charger Will give it 5 stars, but... It's a USB charger, you need a wall adapter, computer or some device with USB to use the charger. Overall it's a great charger

Excellent battery charging unit I purchased this battery charger because I lost the charger that came with my rechargeable flash light which I love. I was pleasantly surprised with the 2 Bay Digital Battery charger. It gives a digital read out of the mili-amp the battery has and shows the percentage as it charges and tell you when it is fully charged. I highly recommend this XTAR digital battery charger, it is amazing for the low price!

2x700 charger really, really requires a ONE AMP wallwart. The usual .5amp wart seems to charge at 0.1amp - which means the 20700's charge overnight - all night.
